The cherry blossoms have passed, but there are still some great flowering trees blooming in DC, including the redbuds in the first photo, three other trees that I have yet to identify a dogwood in the third, and Kwanzan cherry blossoms in the 2nd and 4th photos.

While some people mourn the passing of peak bloom for the cherry blossoms, I love how they reveal bright green leaves, signs of spring that have been growing under cover, and are now in plain sight!
