Family hike on the Stony Man Trail
Pancakes, bacon, and caramelized mangoes (and leftover strawberries from last night’s strawberry shortcake). A beautiful start to a weekend with houseguests!
Hugo had a great time with our friend Joe at Otto’s birthday party, and is apparently now preparing for his future life as a dentist.
Or an ultimate fighting champion.
It was wonderful to celebrate Charles and David’s wedding (and adoption finalization) with them today, especially in light of everything going on down the street at the Supreme Court.
Did you like House of Cards? What about House of Cardinals?

Congrats to my friend, Jon Deutsch (and my brother Marcel, who recorded the music) on this great parody.
My friend Patrick had a terrible experience on New Years Day when he was sold watered-down gas at the Sunoco station at the Delaware Travel Plaza. After having to pay more than $1,400 to get the water pumped out of his gas tank, he still has had no success getting Sunoco to provide any support, or even admit responsibility. If you can reblog this post, like or comment on his photo on their facebook page, or choose to take your fuel business elsewhere, I know Patrick will appreciate it.
Sunoco - you sold me water instead of gas January 1 at the Delaware rest stop on I-95. Your negligence cost me $1472.26 in repairs and car rental, but you refuse to accept responsibility. I have all the documentation for mileage, location, payment, and repairs. I even have a fuel sample! Take a look at the photo and you’ll see the water on the bottom. My dealer took 11.5 gallons of your contaminated fuel out of my car and you won’t do the right thing. Is this how you treat your customers? #NoGoSunoco
