My mustache feel this big, after hitting my initial goal of $8,000 raised through Mustaches for Kids DC—with 26 hours left to raise even more for the Kids!
More than 200 of you have pitched in over $8,100 to support the Kids Care Fund at Children’s National Medical Center, which, along with conducting important research and offering excellent care, provide $60 million a year in uncompensated care to needy children and families.
I’m still looking for 29 more donations (any amount, as small as $5, helps) to make my goal of 48 donations in the final 48 hours before 6:00 pm EST tomorrow, as the campaign closes with the Stache Bash at Penn Social (and if you’re 21+ and in the DC area, you’re invited).
If you’re up for helping out, could you:
- Pitch in at http://bit.ly/jacquesmustache2012 — any amount helps.
- Reblog/share with anyone else who might be interested.
- Also, if you know any millionaires who might be considering large tax-deductible donations for the end of the year, I highly recommend this cause for at least $1,000 or so in donations.
Thanks all, and remember, it’s for the Kids!
