Had a nice lunch at the Kogod courtyard off the National Portrait Gallery. I should really get over here more often on the lunchbreak!
The National Building Museum in Washington, DC. This is literally across the street from my office, but I haven’t been there in years to check out the exhibits (though I’ve definitely hit up the cafe and enjoyed the awesomely massive atrium).

Looking for something to do tomorrow? Here’s a big chance for cultural or educational betterment, on somebody else’s dime.
If you live in DC, this may not be as big of a deal, but tomorrow is national Museum Day, organized by the Smithsonian.

Hundreds of museums and cultural sites around the country will have free admission all day. Find one near you at this list.
(Note to my Kentucky readers, I haven’t looked into whether the Creation Museum is participating)
